Clayton Albright Noble, 89, of Remington, passed away at 6:23 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Central Hospital, Lafayette. Born July 2, 1924 in Hazel Park, Michigan, he was the son of the late Mason and Nina (Albright) Noble. He was a graduate of Highland Park High School. On June 2, 1957 he married Dorothy Brugh, in Remington. She preceded him in death on May 3, 1996. Clayton was a US WWII veteran and served in the Army from 1943 to 1946. He worked with a race track in Michigan until 1965, when he moved to New Orleans and worked with the Water and Sewage Company until the mid 1980's. Clayton was also a devoted caregiver to his wife Dorothy. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mason Jr. Noble. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 19, 2013 at 12 p.m. at the Brookston cemetery, officiated by Rev. Mary vanWijk.
