Barry Ross Kuner, 68, of Monticello, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away at 11:23 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013 in Indiana University Health - Arnett Hospital of Lafayette. He was born November 11, 1944 in Indianapolis, to the late Harry and Alma (Okey) Kuner and was a graduate of Manuel High School of Indianapolis. He retired from Indianapolis Power and Light as Print Services Supervisor after many years of service. Mr. Kuner was a longtime member of the Monticello American Legion Post #81 and the Monticello Moose Lodge #906. He was also a member of the Monticello Fraternal Order of Eagles #2570 and a life member of the Monticello VFW Post #2231. Barry had a huge heart for all living creatures. He loved his 10 cats and would routinely feed wildlife around his home. A wonderful person and neighbor, he was always there for anyone who needed help, both physically and financially. Surviving is a special cousin, Melanie Vincz of Redondo Beach, California; a niece Erika Grayson and her son, Jace. Also surviving are cousins, Mark, David and Jerry Kuner.
