Adah had a limited education, but loved to read, and her dream was to become a nurse. She was a hard worker and did many jobs for others including; baking, washing and ironing while raising her family. For a number of years she was a cook at the Wolcott School, worked in the office for Dr. Baynes and Dr. Skidmore, and she also worked at Dwyer Instruments as one of the Golden Girls, as well as being a caregiver for many of those who were homebound. She was known for her great home cooking and she loved her garden and reaping its bounty. She was a person who believed in making the best of any situation and was well respected for her trustworthiness and honesty. Adah was a devoted Christian and member of the Wolcott Baptist Church and served in many capacities. She is survived by her four sons: John of South Bend, James (Luann) of Oak Grove, MO, Julian (Delores) of Plymouth and Jerry (Marilyn) of Jefferson, WI. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter-in-law, Charlotte, a grandson, Brent Keiser, and a great-granddaughter, Anne Marie Keiser. Also two brothers, Paul Haycraft and Carley Haycraft, five half sisters, and her close friend, Whitey Christopher. Her family gives special thanks to many from Wolcott and the surrounding areas for their love and friendship with Adah and especially to her good buddy, Donna Whitaker.
