Harvey "Sonny" Perfect Gossell, 75, of Monon, died at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Chase Center, Logansport. Sonny was born October 22, 1937 in Winamac, Indiana, to the late Harvey F. and Zella (Spencer) Gossell. He attended Napa Valley High School in Napa, California. Sonny served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1964. He lived in the Monon area for many years and had been a member of the Reynolds Lutheran Church. He worked at the Gutwein Motor Company in Monon for several years. Sonny also worked at Alloy Rods in Monticello for over 19 years. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and watching his favorite show, Ice Road Truckers. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents Harvey F. and Zella (Spencer) Gossell, a grandchild, and his brother, Bernard "Paul" Gossell. Surviving Sonny are children; Angel Cox (husband; Richard) of Logansport, Lloyd V. Long (companion: Loretta) of Logansport, sisters; Norma Robinson of Toxie, Alabama, Evelyn Marzke (husband: Ron) of Monon, Anita Mattos (husband: Jerry) of Monticello, Sheree Sayers (husband: Jon) of Rensselaer, Brothers; Terry Gossell (wife: Lois) of Jacksonville, Florida, Gary Gossell (companion: Carlita) of Vallejo California, Mark Gossell (wife: Kyong) of Lexington Park, Maryland, and grandchildren: Trinity Marie Long, Colten Allen Denny and one grandbaby on the way.
