Carol Virginia (Baker) Thompson, 71, of Plainfield, IN, passed away October 20, 2012. She was the daughter of Theodore F. and Mary Louise Baker. She is survived by her husband, Philip Thompson, son and daughter-in-law, Chris Thompson, Yvonne (Berenda) Thompson and grandchildren, Samuel Thompson and Leah Thompson. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Maryhelen Carroll and Colleen Thompson along with various cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, a granddaughter, Renee Marie Thompson and a brother-in-law, Jerry Thompson. Visitation will be held at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, from 5-8 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2012. Private family funeral will be held in Kentland, IN on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, with burial at Fairlawn Cemetery of Kentland.
