Mark Alan King, 32, of Kentland, died at home on Monday, January 23, 2012. He was born December 3, 1979 in Watseka, IL Donna Reifel and Bud King. He had attended and graduated from South Newton High School in 1999. He had been a lifelong resident of Kentland. Mark enjoyed playing guitar, spending time with his two children, family and friends. He is survived by his parents Tom and Donna Reifel and Bud and Judy King. He is also survived by his two children, Damon and Maryssa, along with 4 brothers and 3 sisters; Rob King, Stacey Schuh, Brandy Ladd, Stacy Wussow, Tommy Reifel, Andy Weishaar, Chris Weishaar, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Bob Hall and Bill King, grandmother Betty King, and cousins Gene Hall and Chad Wetli. Friends may call from 4-8 pm (CST), Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland. Funeral Service at 11 am (CST), Friday, January 27, 2012 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland. Father Robert Bernatos to officiate. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Kentland. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Damon and Maryssa King Trust that has been set up at Fowler State Bank of Kentland.
