Mary C. Dieterle, 77, of Monticello, formerly of Brookston, died at 12:50 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2011 at IU Health Hospital of Lafayette. She was born September 29, 1934 in Reynolds to the late Raymond & Louise (Legg) Zarse. Her marriage was to Roger "Hoss" Dieterle on December 3, 1967 in Reynolds. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2007. Mary worked at RCA in Monticello in production for 13 years, and was a member of Brookston Federated Church. Mary enjoyed dancing with the 4 seasons Square Dance Club, camping and gardening. She also loved spending time with her dog Susie. Surviving are her children, Russell Woosley Jr. of Noblesville, Loucille Lingenfelter (husband: John) of Monticello, Steven Woosley (wife: Yvette) of Noblesville and Joy Strong (husband: Charles) of Monticello and a sister, Kay Rice (husband: Chuck) of Monon. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband and a sister, Bernadine Tatman. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12 p.m. (Noon) Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston.
