July 23, 1971 - December 10, 2011

Bradley Eugene Stone, 40, of Lafayette, passed away at 7:30 a.m., December 10, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his family. He had been battling cancer. He was born July 23, 1971 in Lafayette to James R. and Marilyn (DeWeese) Stone and was a 1989 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. After high school he joined the United States Army serving in an Artillery Unit. His marriage was to Michelle A. Walker on September 19, 1998 at the First Baptist Church in Lafayette. She survives. Brad and Michelle owned and operated the Stones Home Cleaning Service for many years. They lived in Lafayette most of their married life except for a recent five year period in Wolcott. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed rooting for the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Yankees. Brad was a wonderful, strongly devoted husband who always wanted to be by Michelle's side. The two were inseparable during both work and home life. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit. He will be greatly missed. Surviving with his wife Michelle and his parents, Jim and Marilyn are two sons, Jason Oliver Stone of Wolcott and Alex Oliver Stone of Lafayette; a daughter, Tosha Sandvold (husband: Alex) of Lafayette and a brother, Mark Stone (wife: Cherie) of LaGrange, Kentucky.
