Connie L. Hall, 59, of Battle Ground, died at 8:00 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011 in her residence. She had battled cancer for the last two years. She was born July 8, 1952 in Hammond, Indiana to W. Ralph and Edith (Kirby) Norwood. She graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1970 and went on to graduate from Rudae's Beauty College in 1971. Her marriage was to Keith Hall on October 7, 1972 in Lafayette. He survives. Mrs. Hall was a beautician at the Indiana Veterans Home for 27 years, was manager of the Brookston Marathon Station and most recently worked as the Advertising Director for the Benton Review Newspaper for 5 years. She was a member of the East Tipp Baptist Church and the Highland Extension Homemakers. She enjoyed traveling, antiques and was active in her bowling league for 30 years. Surviving with her husband is a son, Kris Hall (wife: Misty) of Zionsville, her mother, Edith Norwood of Lafayette; two brothers, Ralph Norwood of West Lafayette and Kirby Norwood of Lafayette; and two sisters, Jackie Diaz and Becky Holladay both of Battle Ground. Connie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren Olivia and Noah. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston; Pastor Larry Wood to officiate. Preceding her in death is her father W. Ralph Norwood. Memorials may be made to the Traders Point Christian Academy.
