Martha J. Heidbrink, 87, of Lafayette, died at 4:21 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011 at her residence. She was born September 29, 1923 in Brookston to the late Harris and Josephine (Stanford) Holtzman. She graduated from Brookston High School in 1941. Her marriage was to Jack Heidbrink, and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1980. She worked at Loebs Department Store for several years, and was an Operations Officer with Lafayette National Bank. She was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, and enjoyed the 41'ers, bowling, golfing and knitting. She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jacqueline Heidbrink. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookton with the Rev. Dr. Lelan D. McReynolds officiating.
