Rachel M. Foulks, 91, of Wolcott, died at 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2010 at her daughter's residence in Santa Fe, Texas. She was born November 2, 1919 near Piper City, Illinois to the late Jacob and Irene (Boardman) Gerbracht. She lived in Wolcott most of her life, and worked as a postal clerk and carrier for over 35 years. She was member of Wolcott Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, the Rebekah Lodge, the Moose Lodge, and the United Postal Union. She enjoyed working in her yard, traveling, crocheting and quilting. Surviving is her daughter, Sandra K. Barron of Santa Fe, Texas. Also surviving is a grandson, Shilo Rai Barron of Santa Fe, TX and a granddaughter-in-law, Vanessa Barron. She is preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Culp, and her brother, John Gerbracht. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2010 at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home of Wolcott, with Pastor Guy Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Dobbins Cemetery in Wolcott. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Indianapolis School for the Blind.
