Dorotha M. Dupin, 87, of Brookston, died at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2010 at White County Memorial Hospital, Monticello. She was born April 15, 1922 in Battle Ground, Indiana to the late Fred and Margaret (Utley) Dieterle. She was a 1940 graduate of Brookston High School. Mrs. Dupin worked 21 years at the Indiana Veteran's Home in housekeeping before retiring. She was a member of the Brookston Federated Church. She enjoyed shopping and watching church programs on television. Surviving is a sister-in-law, Mary Dieterle of Monticello and four step-nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston. Rev. Dr. Lelan McReynolds to officiate. Interment to follow in Brookston IOOF Cemetery. Preceding her in death with her parents are two brothers Roger F. Dieterle and Carroll D. "Skip" Dieterle.
