Anita L. Partlow, 86, of Lafayette, died at 6:10 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2009 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center of Lafayette. She had been in failing health for the past year. She was born March 14, 1923 to the late Thomas and Bess (Robbins) Baker. She attended Sheridan High School. Her marriage was to Charles Partlow on March 23, 1939. He preceded her in death on January 14, 1968. Mrs. Partlow worked at Central Lab in West Lafayette until retiring in 1985. She previously attended Victory Christian Church in Lafayette. She loved to read and enjoyed crocheting. Surviving are three daughters, Joyce Banta and Donna Phelps (husband: Lee) both of Lafayette and Patricia Sargent (husband: Al) of Millington, TN and a son, Kenneth Partlow (wife: Jackie) of Delphi. Anita loved spending time with her 5 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons, Noah and Sidney. Private graveside services to be held Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Cemetery; Pastor Greg Tyra of Harvest Chapel to officiate.
