Dwayne "Teener" Wiley, 70, of Monon, died Monday, May 18, 2009 in Home Hospital. Born on February 9, 1939 in Francesville, he was the son of the late Russell and Mamie Sills Wiley. He was a 1957 graduate of Monon High School. Dwayne was a long time resident of Monon. Mr. Wiley served in the United States Army and National Guard. He worked at Monon Trailer and Girtz Industries for many years on the assembly line and was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Monon. He enjoyed socializing with his friends, fishing, gardening, Indiana University basketball, the Chicago Bears and spending time with his family. Surviving is his daughter, Tina Wiley of Monon; and a brother, Dick Wiley (wife: Ginny) of Monon. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Craig Stevenson, Kendra Stevenson and Phillip Wireman; and a special great-grandson, Isaiah Keith. Preceding him in death with his parents are his brothers, Bob and Tom Wiley. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19th at Clapper Family Funeral Home in Monon with services on Wednesday, May 20th at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Monon Chapel Cemetery.
