Ronald Pat Gushwa, 64, of Lafayette died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 in Heritage Healthcare of West Lafayette. He had battled Multiple Myloma for the last seven years. He was born December 6, 1943 in Lafayette to the late Thomas and Sylvia (Loman) Gushwa. He attended Rossville, Oxford and Battle Ground schools. Mr. Gushwa was an honorably discharged United States Army veteran. He worked for Wingers Appliances as a repairman. Ron enjoyed visiting with family and playing cards, especially euchre & poker. Surviving are two sisters, Sylvia Hendershot of Templeton and Lucille Imaly of Seymour, Indiana. Also surviving are 2 sister-in-laws, Eileen and Mary Gushwa. Preceding him in death are 6 brothers, 4 sisters and a niece. Private interment services to be at Sandridge Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
