Biographical Information:
Anita had lived in the Monticello area most all of her life. She graduated from the Lafayette Jeff High School, in Lafayette, Indiana. Anita was a member of the Lake Shafer Christian Center, located in Monticello, Indiana. She had been a waitress most of her life dedicating 52 years to her career, and the last ten (10) years of that in the Monticello Pizza Hut. Anita worked, went home, and to church. She enjoyed playing cards, dominios, and bible studies at the nursing home. Anita attended those activities there long before becoming a resident herself. She would always go and pick people or children up in the mornings to get them to church, and was always a helping hand for people in need.

Marriage Information: On December 31, 1949 in Lafayette, Indiana she married Lee Thomas. He died August 19, 1994.
