Danny Joe  Kirkpatrick, 70, of Monticello, Indiana, passed away at 9:40 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2023, at the Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital of Lafayette, Indiana, with his family at his side.   

He was born on Friday, November 7, 1952, in Logansport, Indiana, to the late Joseph and Rosmond (Beamer) Kirkpatrick.  

On January 20, 1974, in Norman, Oklahoma, he married Vonda Glenn; she survives.  
 
Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will begin at 4:00 p.m.,Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, followed by a visitation until 6:00 p.m..      

 

No Formal Funeral Service will be conducted.  Visitation only.  

 

Burial will be Private for the Family. 

 

Memorials may be given to the Family.  Envelopes will be available here at the funeral home or can be mailed to the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home, 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana, 47960. 

Biographical Information:
   Danny had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area for the last two years, coming from the Delphi, Indiana, area.  He was a 1971 graduate of Delphi Community High School of Delphi, Indiana.  Danny had two full rides to attend college, but he enlisted in the United States Air Force service during the Vietnam Era.  He specialized in facilities maintenance and in waste water.  Danny retired five years ago.  He enjoyed reading and was an avid reader.  Danny loved history and could tell anyone about anything that deals with history.  He was a quiet man, but he was very passionate about his family that he loved and adored very much. Danny also loved and adored his dog, Daisy Mae!!!
