Eleanor won a scholarship to attend Bishop Noll High School of Hammond, Indiana, and graduated from their in 1952. She hoped to go to college to be a pharmacist but did not materialize. Both Eleanor, and Leon, would help anyone and everyone at anytime. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Ladies of the Moose, and Lake Ladies, all of Monticello, Indiana. Eleanor would go to the Monticello United Methodist Church and help cook for the "Soup for the Soul", and she and the ladies of the Lake Ladies would go into volunteer at the Monticello Healthcare Center, both of Monticello, Indiana. She loved everyone with ALL her heart and soul and had touched many lives throughout the years. She will be deeply missed by a life time filled with close friends, neighbors, and family.
