Biographical Information:
Betty had lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area most all her life. She was a seamstress / homemaker. Betty went to the Ray - Vogue School of Dress Design and Millinery for two (2) years. She was a very well known seamstress, making numerous wedding dresses, bridesmaid and prom dresses, English and Western attire. Betty was also an amazing cook, cooking for big family get togethers. She always made sure that there were at least 2 pies for everyone to eat.

Marriage Information: On July 18, 1954, in Rensselaer, Indiana, she married LaVerne "Tom" McAleer; he survives.

Husband, Tom McAleer of Monticello, Indiana; Daughter, Melinda (husband Robert "Bob") Han of Monticello, Indiana; Two (2) Granddaughters,Amanda "Mandy" (husband Dan) Felker, and Alissa (husband Brian) Creighton, both of Monticello, Indiana; Great Granddaughter, Morgan Felker of Monticello, Indiana; Great Granddsons, Brady, and Kieran Creighton, of Monticello, Indiana; Brother, Kenneth Todd, II of Florida; Foster Brothers, George Reed of Mississippi, and Wayne Williamson of Georgia.
