Biographical Information:
Fred had lived in the Monticello community for the past 30 years coming from Highland, Indiana area. He retired in 1973 from the Brumm Distributing as a Driver/Salesman, driving for the Local Teamsters #142. Fred was a U.S. Army Air Corp. Veteran serving during WWII. He was very active in the Color and Honor Guards of the American Legion, VFW, AmVets all of Monticello, Indiana. Fred went to as many functions as possible and enjoyed doing the school tours especially in uniform. He loved Bowling and bowled on many leagues in Hammond and Monticello, Indiana. He enjoyed tinkering and trying to fix things. Fred was loved by many and always found time to be with family and friends.

****( Special presentation of colors and military rites by the Honor Guard of the American Legion, VFW and AmVets Posts of Monticello, Indiana will be at 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Special Services: Full military rites will be conducted at the MIller - Roscka Funeral Home on June 7, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. by the local Honor Guard and Thursday at the cemetery in Hammond, Indiana.
Memorial Information: May be given to the Monticello Honor Gurad or to the White County Council and Aging Center, both of Monticello, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at both funeral homes.
Marriage Information: In 1948 in Crown Point, Indiana he married Margaret James. She died in 1971, then in 1976 in Highland, Indiana he married Margaret Martin. She died in 1979.
