Imogene B. (Bowsher) Moore, 96, of New Carlisle, Ohio (formerly of Monticello, Indiana), passed away at 10:50 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the Vancrest of New Carlisle, Ohio.  

She was born on Wednesday, January 13, 1926, in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, to the late James and Edna (Fross) Bowsher.

 

On April 13, 1946, at the old Zion Bethel Church of rural Monticello, Indiana, she married Clive "Bert" Moore; he passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019. 

 

Imogene had lived in White County, Indiana, most all of her life. 

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 12:00 (noon) to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.    

 

Burial will be Private for the Family at the Hughes Cemetery of rural Monticello, Indiana, with Rev. Ian McMcMillan, of the First Baptist Church of Monticello, Indiana, officiating. 

 

In lieu of flower memorials may be given to the donors choice.  Envelopes can be mailed to the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home, 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana, 47960.   

 

Biographical Information:

   Imogene sang in the choir at First Baptist Church of Monticello, Indiana, and in Buttonwood Bay,
Florida. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering, quilting, and was an avid collector of
dolls.

Nancy (husband Calvin) Dyer of New Carlisle, Ohio,

Susan (husband Jeff) McCarroll of Dayton, Ohio, and

David (wife Susan) Moore of Valparaiso, Indiana;

 

Six (6) Grandchildren,

Michelle (husband Todd) Campbell,

Stephanie (husband Kelly) Stevens,

Marc (wife Jenny) Dyer,

Adam (wife Terra) Moore,

Aaron (wife Lauren) Moore, and

Emily Moore;

 

Eleven (11) Great Grandchildren,

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
