Biographical Information:
Irene had lived most all of her life in the Valparaiso, Indiana area, moving to Monticello, Indiana about 13 years ago. She was a graduate of the LaPorte High School, in LaPorte, Indiana. During the war Irene worked at McGill's as an assembler. Her last job was at the Videt Messenger, in Valparaiso, Indiana in their sales department. Irene also sold cemetery plots for the Graceland Cemetery for many years. Irene was a devoted member of the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church of Monticello, Indiana. She was very active in the Altar & Rosary Society and the St. Therese Circle. Irene was a Past-President and Board Repersenative for the Altar & Rosary Sodality.
Special Services: Rosary Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10. 2008 at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home.
Memorial Information: May be given to the White County Food Pantry, or to the White County Chapter of the American Cancer Society (Relay-For-Life Fund). Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
