Biographical Information:
Jim had lived in the Monticello community all of his life, and was a 1962 graduate of Monticello High School in Monticello, Indiana. He had worked for the Indiana Department of Revenue, Lafayette, Indiana, office. for forty-two (42) years. Jim was a volunteer since 1959, of the White County Civil Defense (Management) (EMA) since he was sixteen (16). Later, her served on the Board of the White County Emergency Management. He loved to tinker on something all the time. Jim was a member of the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello and had served as a Deacon for several years.

Marriage Information: In 1963, at the old Monticello Christian Church of Bluff Street in Monticello, he married Perneda M. Long. She survives.

Rickey, Marc A. Rickey, James Darin Rickey, Marissa J. Rickey, Alicia D. Rickey,Dustin T. Rickey, and Tiffany G. Rickey. Four (4) Great Grandchildren
