Biographical Information:
Karen was born in Gary, Indiana. After a time growing up in Gary, the family later moved to Portage, Indiana, allowing Karen to be a 1958 graduate of Portage High School of Portage, Indiana. Karen was an avid outdoor enthusiast. She enjoyed all the elements of the outdoors, gardening was her gift. Karen had moved her little family to the Rensselaer, Indiana, area in the early 1970's. She was a cook at the former Green Gables Restaurant in Reynolds, Indiana, while living in the Chalmers/Reynolds, Indiana, area. Karen upon raising her family she decided to follow her dream of moving and living in Colorado. She began employment at the 94th Aero Squadron Diner neat the Denver airport for a time. Karen She then became employed with Mt. Vista Assisted Living Center of Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Karen became very loved by many and realized then the ripple effect life had to offer, the energies we share and contribute to others wellness which very much she had adorned with her surviving husband, Donovan, continues to be a very patient caregiver of her final needs. Thank you Donovan from all the family!!!!!!
