Marjory was a 1941 Graduate of Butler University. Upon her graduation she became an English and Latin Teacher for the Sharpsville School System where she was also the Drama Coach and head of the yearbook production. After 1 year she was offered a similar position with the Carmel School System where she remained until 1952. From 1952 until 1970 Marjory was a stay at home mother and wife. Marjory then returned back to the education field she so enjoyed by becoming the Director of the High School Media Center in the Carmel/Clay Schools in Carmel, Indiana. She received her Master's Degree in Library Science in 1975 from Butler University. She retired in 1985, moving to the Monticello area in 2007 to be even closer to her family. She had a major influence in the lives of her daughter and grandsons, daily touching base, often with a thought from her daily devotions. Marjory loved the water, beaches, and watching the sunsets over Lake Michigan.
