Biographical Information:
Mary Helen had been a resident of the Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center in Monticello, Indiana, since November of 2006. She grew up on the White County, Indiana farm of her parents, Otto and Sarah Jarrett. Following graduation from Wolcott High School in Wolcott, Indiana in 1936, she attended and graduated from the Lafayette Beauty College. She owned and operated Helen's Beauty Shop in Remington, Indiana. Helen was a homemaker, and continued operating her beauty shop out of the family home in Monticello, Indiana. In 1976, she and her husband, Harry, moved to Leesburg, Florida where they lived in retirement until 1987. They returned to Monticello, Indiana. She enjoyed music, painting, ceramics, reading, and sewing. Helen was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello, Indiana, and the Social Hour Club (an organization of farmer's wives) within the Monticello, Indiana, community.

Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to the First Prresbyterian Church of Monticello, Indiana, or to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On March 29, 1942, at the home of Helen's parents in Wolcott, Indiana, she married Harry J. Doremire of Chalmers, Indiana. He survives.
