83 year old Peggy Lambert, of Rantoul, Illinois (formerly of Monticello, Indiana), passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022.  

Peggy was born on Monday, March 25, 1939, in Mitchell, Indiana, to the late Paul and Mary (Chenault) Harris.  83 year old Peggy Lambert passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022.

She was born on Monday, March 25, 1939, in Mitchell, Indiana, to Paul and Mary (Chenault) Harris.  On January 9, 1999, in Oahu, Hawaii, she married Gerald Lambert; he passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016.

 

Peggy had lived in Rantoul, Illinois, since 2018, moving from the Monticello, Indiana, area.

 

A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022, here at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, with Rev. Benji Riddle of the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana, officiating.  

 

Memorials may be given to wishes of the donor.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home, 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana 47960.

 

Burial will take place: In the Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.  

Biographical Information:  
   Peggy Jean had resided in Mitchell, Indiana, from 1939 until 1960.  She then moved to West Lafayette, Indiana, from 1960 to 1963, Seymour, Indiana, from 1963 to 1966, Shelbyville, Indiana, 1966 to 1989, Remington, Indiana, from 1989 to 1999, Monticello, Indiana, from 1999 to 2018.  Peggy Jean most recently moved to Rantoul, Illinois, from 2018 till 2022 to be closer to her family.  She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #4300 of Sebring, Florida and Tri Kappa Sorority.  Peggy and Gerald had wintered in Florida for several years.

Brad (wife Shana) Gould of Rantoul, Illinois and

Mark (wife Anita) Gould of Spearfish, South Dakota;

 

Four (4) Grandchildren,

Derek (wife Katie) Gould and 

Katie (husband Dean) Hillen both of Mascoutah, Illinois,

Markus Gould of Spearfish and

Madison Gould of both of Spearfish, South Dakota;

 

Four (4) Great Grandchildren,

Abigail,

Graham, 

Andrew, and

Summer.
