Richard P. "Rick" Temple, Sr., 66, of rural Burnettsville (Carroll County), Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, in Carroll County, Indiana. 

He was born on Monday, August 6, 1956, at the former White County Memorial Hospital of Monticello, Indiana, to the late Thomas G. "Tom" and Carol L. (McCombs) Temple.  

A Private Family Service will be at a later date. 

 

Burial will be Private for the Family.

Biographical Information:
   Rick  grew up in Carroll County, Indiana, and attended Adams Township School of rural Carroll County, Indiana, Eastlawn Elementary School of rural Burnettsville, Indiana, and then Twin Lakes High School of Monticello, Indiana.  He had lived in Florida until recently when he returned to Indiana to be near family and friends.  Rick loved being outdoors, hunting mushrooms with his friends, farming, and socializing.     

 

Survivors include:

Four (4) Children,

Billie Jo Temple Mendez of Tennessee,

Rick Temple of Michigan City, Indiana,

Ashley (husband Adam) Johnson of South Carolina, and

Zachary Temple of Logansport, Indiana,

 

Eight (8) Grandchildren;

 

Four (4) Great Grandchildren;

 

Three (3) Siblings,

Thomas "Tom" (wife Connie) Temple of Burnettsville, Indiana,

Becky (husband David) Hankins of Burnettsville, Indiana, and 

Barbara "Barb" (husband Rick) Roller of Burnettsville, Indiana;

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
