Biographical Information:
Steve was a 1961 graduate of Deshler High School of Deshler, Ohio. He and his wife, Shawn, have lived in the Monticello, Indiana, area since 1993, moving from Lafayette, Indiana. Steve had lived in the Lafayette, Indiana, area since 1975, and had worked for WASK and WAZY Radio Stations of Layette, Indiana, for several years. After moving to the Monticello, Indiana, area, He owned and operated the former Beck Muffler of Monticello, Indiana, from 1993 to 2006. Steve was a United States Army Medic Veteran. He was a very supportive member of the American Legion Post #81, AmVets Post #91, F.O.E. (Fraternal Order of Eagles) Aries 2570, all of Monticello, Indiana, and the VFW Post #1106 of Reynolds, Indiana. Steve enjoyed golfing, fishing, and boating.
Special Services: Full Military Rites by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello, Indiana, will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the AmVets Post #91, 219 Northwesteran Avenue, Monticello, Indiana, 47960
Memorial Information: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the White County Food Pantry of Monticello, Indiana, or to Happy Tails of Buffalo, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the AmVets Post #91 of Monticello, Indiana.
