Joseph M. Mathew, 62, of Wolcott, passed away at 4:13 am on June 26, 2018 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN.
He was born July 11, 1955 in Lafayette, IN to the late Maurice E. and Ruth A. (Oshier) Mathew, he was a 1973 graduate of Tri-County High School.
After attending Butler and graduating from Purdue University in 1977, Joe entered farming. Upon selling the farm, and having never married, he was a kind and loving person who saw to the care of his mother for 25 years until she passed away in 2016.
He is survived by one brother, Jeff Mathew of West Lafayette, IN.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
