It is with great regret that Brenda (Burke) Chalfin, 41, of Earl Park, passed away on July 1, 2018 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital of Watseka, IL. She was born December 10, 1976 to the late Howard Wayne Sr. and Sandra (Wilder) Burke.

Brenda was a wonderful mother, daughter, and aunt. She was the second youngest of six children. Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her son, Samuel Banister and companion, John Campbell. Also surviving are along with her son are sisters, Marcia, Teresa (Troy) Cayton, and Tina (Michael) Goodman; 2 brothers, Wayne Burke and Keith Burke; grandfather, Ivan Wilder (companion: Sandy Whitton) of Remington; nieces, Jamie (Dustin) Hurst, Samantha (David) Fee, Amanda Cayton, and Tisha (Matthew) Smith; nephews, Charles Auxier, Eric (Dezi) Cayton, and will be greatly missed by her 7 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews.

Preceding her in death along with her mother and father is a daughter, Rebecca Hoaks, and grandmother, Delores Wilder.

Friends may call from 4-6 PM (CST) Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Bethany Evangelical Free Church of 2100 E. Grace St, Rensselaer, IN. Memorial service to start at 6 PM (CST).
