George “Bumps” R. Durflinger, 67, of Kentland, passed away at 9:45 PM, September 26, 2017 at his residence.

He was born February 25, 1950 in Sheldon, IL to the late Lawson and Doris (Brady) Durflinger. His marriage was to Betty Wilson. She survives.

George was a mechanic for several years and was also a scrap metal dealer. He enjoyed spending his time traveling and spending time with family.

Surviving along with his wife are children, Wanda Stone of Kentland, Ronnie Hull of Kentland, and Duane (Mary) Hull of St. Anne, IL. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death along with his parents is a daughter Rhonda Melton and a brother, Roland Durflinger.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
