February 14, 1981 - March 2, 2017

Jeremie Dean Rayman, 36, of Brookston, passed away from heart complications at 7:16 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017 at IU Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis.

He was born February 14, 1981 in Lafayette to the late Harold Dean and Sue (Vanderwall) Rayman. Jeremie attended McCutcheon High School for three years until his family moved to New Mexico where he spent his senior year and graduated from Mayfield High School, Las Cruces. After high school he attended Dona Ana Community College.

While in Las Cruces he worked for Lockheed Martin and was married to Laura Cisneros on August 6, 2005. The couple moved back to Indiana to Remington in 2006. Laura preceded him in death on April 9, 2009.

For the last ten years Mr. Rayman had worked as a Maintenance Technician for the Tippecanoe School Corporation.

On March 23, 2014 he began dating his current fiancé Crystal McFadden and they were to be married July 15, 2017.   Together they shared their love with their sons Patrick, Emmitt and Sam.

Jeremie was a loving fiancé, father, son and uncle. He lived life to the fullest and made a huge impact on all those around him. Too many, he was affectionately known as “Cowboy” because of his signature cowboy hat and sunglasses look.

Surviving with his fiancé Crystal and three sons are two sisters, Kim White (husband: Brian) of West Lafayette and Rhonda Rayman-Martinez of Dayton; a brother, Kenny Rayman of Kirkland, WA; his nieces, Regan and Kimber and his nephews, Dion and Angel.

Preceding him in death are his parents Dean and Sue and his wife, Laura.

Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home (101 West 4th St. Brookston). Private services are planned afterwards. Interment will follow in Remington Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in his name to the Jeremie Rayman memorial fund to be used for later good, including sponsoring his sons in baseball.
