Patsy VanVoorst, 77, of Monticello, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 21, 1939 in Winamac, IN to the late Glen R. and Marie (Wisely) Floyd. She was a graduate of Winamac High School.

Her Marriage was to Jerry VanVoorst on July 27, 1957 in Michigan City, IN. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2010.

Patsy enjoyed spending her time crafting, gardening, working in the yard, her animals, her fish pond, and most of all, time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Terri (Todd) Piercefield, and Tony (Stephanie) VanVoorst; grandchildren, Timothy Cooley, Charles Coonrod, Vanessa Stone, Justin (Nicole) Deweese, Carl (Steph) Piercefield, and Billy Piercefield. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband, Jerry VanVoorst, are brothers, Ray Jr., Jack, and Tom; daughter, Carla Griggs VanVoorst.

Friends and Family welcome for a Graveside Service that will be held at 1 PM Monday, October 24, 2016 at Chapel Cemetery in Monon. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
