Betty A. McIntosh, 79, of Fowler, passed away at 9:30 AM, October 8, 2016 at her residence surrounded by family.

She was born September 15, 1937 in Benton County, IN to the late Chester and Amelia (Kyle) Dexter. Betty was a graduate of Gilboa High School. Her marriage was to Robert “Red” McIntosh on April 20, 1958. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2007.

She was a member of the Tri Kappa Omicron Chapter of Fowler and a parishioner of the Fowler United Methodist Church. Betty worked for Art Korbe at the local Jewelry Store for several years.

Betty enjoyed spending her time gardening, time at Fountain Park Chautauqua in Remington, Fowler Church Camp, and most of all, loved time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Brian (Kathy) McIntosh of Lafayette, Kenneth McIntosh of California, and Angie (Ralph) Clark. Siblings, Ina (Wayne) Stitz of Remington, Lois Lawson-Paterson, and Max I. Dexter of Remington. Grandchildren, Kelsey McIntosh, Kyle Eberle, Zach Eberle, Alex Eberle, and Robert McIntosh. Betty is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 10 AM until the time of memorial service at 11 AM, Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the Fowler United Methodist Church (908 E. 12th St. Fowler, IN 47944). Inurnment to follow in Fowler Cemetery (465 W. Division Rd. Fowler, IN).
