Wilmer "Merle" Dulin, 64, of Brookston, passed away at 9:06 PM, July 21, 2016 at IU Health Arnett Hospital of Lafayette. He was born August 21, 1951 in Rensselaer, IN to the late Wilmer and Patricia (Budd) Dulin. He graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1969.

His marriage was to Janet Klepinger on October 21, 1973 in Lafayette, IN. She survives.

Wilmer was a member of the Wildcat Valley Rifle & Pistol Club in Brookston and worked construction when he was able. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, shooting target practice, golfing with the guys, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

Surviving along with his wife are children, Shawn (Alison) Dulin of Lafayette, and Ian Dulin of Indianapolis; siblings, Jack Dulin of Lafayette, Karen (David Smith) Berkowitz of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nash, Emmett, and Riley Dulin.

Wilmer is preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Patricia Dulin.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
