Margaret E. Troyer, 95, of Monon, passed away at 11:50 PM, January 10, 2016 at the Indiana Veterans Home of West Lafayette. She was born January 3, 1921 in Bremen to the late Arthur and Isabelle (Nussbaum) Forsythe.

Her marriage was to Hershel Troyer in Hattiesburg, MS on September 5, 1942. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2002. Margaret was a beautician for several years in South Bend, IN and also in Monon. She enjoyed spending her time gardening and working on crafts. Most of all Margaret loved spending time with her family.

 

She is survived by a son, Bruce (Cindy) Troyer of Monon; daughter, Lana Sue (Mike) Lass of Irving, TX. Also surviving are grandchildren, Michael, Melissa (Donald) Brown, David Matthew, Sarah, and David.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband are 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral graveside service 1:00 PM Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Bedford Cemetery of Monon. Pastor Steve Birch of Monon First Baptist Church to officiate.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Margaret’s name to the Indiana Veterans Home of West Lafayette.
