Thomas Lee Voris, 54, of Kentland, passed away at 3:15 PM, December 18, 2015 at Signature Health Care at Parkwood of Lebanon, IN.

He was born February 21, 1961 in Cahokia, IL. He was the son of David and Bonnie Couch, and the late Charles Isaac Voris.

He was a member of Sons of American Legion Post #23, and was also a member at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Tom worked for several years at Viskase Corporation in Kentland. He enjoyed watching college sports including IU Basketball and Notre Dame Football. Tom coached Little League Baseball for several years in Kentland.  Tom also enjoyed woodworking and building sets for South Newton Drama Department.

He is survived by a son, Jonathan Robert Voris of Japan; daughters, Erica Lynn (husband: Kelly) Candies of Virginia, Emily Marie (husband: Jack) Fellmy of Kentland; brother, Charles (wife: Diana) Voris of Goodland; sisters, Phyllis (husband: Ron) Murphy of Montmorenci, IN, Tammy (husband: Rusty) Shepherd of Lafayette, and Tonya (husband: Matthew) Knoth of Battle Ground. Tom is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 9:30 AM (CST) until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM (CST) Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, (409 East Allen Street Kentland, IN 47951). Father Robert Bernotas to officiate. Inurnment to follow at a later date in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
