Ronald Stockton, 77, of Lafayette, passed away at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Signature Health Care of Lafayette. He was born June 24, 1938 in Lafayette to the late Jess C. and Doris (McMillin) Stockton. His marriage was to Mary Bowman on March 5, 1966 in Lafayette. She died in March of 2001. Mr. Stockton worked at Rostone and Purdue University. He enjoyed people watching and spending time with his family. Surviving are a son, Jeff Stockton (wife: Mindy) of Huntsville, AL; two daughters, Lisa Kyger (husband: Greg) and Trina Smith (husband: Terry) both of Lafayette; a sister, Julia Coffey of Lafayette; two brothers, Scott Stockton of Michigan City and Jesse "Calvin" Stockton of Lafayette and a sister-in-law Brenda Watts (husband: Walter). Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
