Mack Gordon Price, 83, of Wolcott died at 12:10 am, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at The Hearth at Windermere of Fishers, after a very short stay. He was born October 4, 1931 in White County to the late William and Ruth (Drummond) Price. He was a graduate of Monticello High School and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He married the love of his life, Carolyn Reel from Remington, IN in November of 1958. She survives. Gordon worked as a private contractor for many years and then at Purdue University performing maintenance and construction. He was an avid reader and genealogist of his family history, followed Purdue Women's basketball and volleyball with his wife, traveling to games all over the country and volunteered for years at the Indiana Veterans Home in West Lafayette, IN Along with his wife Carolyn, he is survived by 2 sons, Mark Price of Texas, Eric (Kam) Price of Indianapolis; 2 daughters, Julie (Scott) Wood of Indianapolis, Jill Barrett of Avon; 3 grandchildren, Kyle (Regena) Price, Reed Price, and Katie Koschnick all of Indianapolis; 1 step grandson, Patrick Wood; and 2 brothers, George Price of Florida, Paul Price of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Price; 2 brothers, Elmer and John Price; 1 sister, Mary Burgard. No memorial service is planned.
