Daniel J. Marin, 57, of Remington, went to join the angels on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Rensselaer Care Center with his loving family at his side. He was born December 18, 1957 in Chicago, IL to the late Sidney and Helen (Szabo) Marin. On March 14, 1981, he married the love of his life Sharon (Pritchett) Marin. She survives. Surviving along with his wife is a brother Dave Marin; a sister, Debbie Woodward; a son, Daniel (Jenny) Marin Jr. of North Judson, IN; a daughter, Kimberly (John) Schuetzenhofer of Remington, IN. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Dylan, Madison, and Ricka. He was retired from Local 597 which he worked for 37 years. He had many hobbies including, Lionel Trains, many electronics, motor cycles, and Licensed Ham Radio. He was a very handyman at repairing most anything.
