Doris J. Schuh, 87, of Remington, passed away at 3:15 am, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at St. Elizabeth East in Lafayette. She was born August 8, 1927 in Remington to the late Lowell & Nina (Norton) Hensler and was a 1945 graduate of Remington High School. Her marriage was to Donald S. Schuh on January 25, 1947 in Remington. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1966. Mrs. Schuh was a homemaker and worked for Tri-County School Corporation for many years before retiring. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Stars. Doris enjoyed spending time with her dog, bird watching, and crocheting. Surviving are two sons Ron (Peg) Schuh of Remington, IN and Brian (Teresa) Schuh also of Remington, IN; a daughter, Shaun (Mike) Trusky of Lafayette, IN. Doris loved spending time with her family, especially her 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death with her parents and husband is a daughter, Cheryl Lockhart, and a brother, Gene Hensler. Friends may call from 9:00 am until the time of funeral service at 11:00 am Saturday, May 23, 2015 at First Christian Church of Remington; Pastor Randy Sparks to officiate.
