James "Jim" Burton , 63, of Kentland, passed away unexpectedly at 6 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2014 at Presence Covenant Medical Center of Urbana, Illinois He was born September 7, 1951 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Claude and Alma (Dalton) Burton. Jim married Janet K. Molter on June 24, 1972 in St. Joseph Church of Kentland. She survives. He worked as a maintenance technician for 40 years at Capital Products of Kentland. Jim enjoyed his time with family and sporting events. He also enjoyed spending time playing horse shoes, fishing, and camping. Surviving along with his wife is a son, Duane Burton of Randolph, New Jersey; granddaughters, Reyna and Indigo Burton. Preceding him in death with his parents is a son, Stuart Burton .
