Delores Ann Warr, 80, of Lafayette died in her home at 5:55 am, Friday, August 15, 2014. She was born on July 2, 1934 in Thomson, Georgia to the late Elmer and Gladys Hayes. She was a graduate of Thomson High School in Thomson, GA. She held many job positions in her life, but the one that meant the most to her was when she worked as a self-employed seamstress. Delores loved being a seamstress. She also enjoyed designing clothes, dancing, and cooking. Another one of her life's pleasures was traveling when she was in her younger years. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Alsop (husband: Clyde) of Lafayette; a son, Sonny Vandiver of Georgia; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Gladys Hayes; a daughter, Lois Vandiver; a brother, Elmer Hayes; a sister Mayne Hayes; and a great grandson, Cory Darnell.
