Barbara Anderson, 62, of Reynolds, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at her residence. She was born on March 16, 1951 in Rensselaer to the late John Arthur and Maxine (Hanson) Hendress and was a 1969 graduate of Wolcott High School. Barbara married Wilbur Gene Wilkerson in 1969 and they had four children together. He preceded her in death in 1982. She later married Howard Anderson and he survives. She has lived in Wolcott, Monticello, and Reynolds for most of her life. Barbara was a member of the Wolcott Christian Church and was an extremely avid owl collector. Surviving with her husband are her children; Gene Wilkerson of Reynolds, Dave Wilkerson of Wolcott, Kevin Wilkerson (wife: Shannon) of Lafayette, and Jim Wilkerson (companion: Erica Gray) of Lafayette; and her sister, Mary Jane Sargent (husband: Dave) of Reynolds. She is also survived by seven granddaughters. Preceding her is death with her parents and first husband, is a brother, Larry Hendress. Friends may call from 5-8 pm, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home of Wolcott. Funeral Service will be at 10 am, Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Wolcott Christian Church with Pastor Jeremy Church officiating. Private family interment to follow.
