Mark Allen, 59, of Monon, died on October 29, 2013 in his home. He was born on January 31, 1954 in Lafayette to the late Robert J. and Geraldine (Wentz) Allen. He was an honorably discharged Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his children, Mark Allen II, Kody Allen, Kayleigh Allen, Marie Wingerter, and Louraine Leyba; siblings, Catherine Johns of Monticello, Barbara Eisert of West Lafayette, Violet Hughes of Idaville, Russell Allen of Killeen, TX, Robert Allen of Monon, Gerry Allen of Monon, and Francis Allen of Monon; and his grandchildren, Hope, Tiffanie, and Johanna Wingerter, and Grant David Allen. Preceding him in death with his parents are 3 brothers, Monty J., Danny L., and Harley R. Allen; sister, Virginia Call; son, Wally Allen; and a daughter, Tiffany Allen. Private family services.
