Russell F. Minick, 82, of Kentland, died at 12:36 am, Friday, September 13, 2013, at Jasper County Hospital in Rensselaer. He was born on June 2, 1931 to the late Harford and Lillian (Sloan) Minick. His marriage was to Joyce Stivers on January 27, 1951. She survives. Surviving with his wife are his two daughters; Delissa "Dee" Praeger (husband:George) and Linda Wilson (husband: Jim), all of Kentland; sister, Bea Alexander of Lafayette; brothers, Ray Minick of Rensselaer, and Jesse Minick of Remington. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Minick, and two brothers, James and Paul Minick. Friends may call from 11 am (CST) until the time of funeral service at 12 pm, Monday, September 16, 2013 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland. Pastor Glenn Minick to officiate.
