Raymond Wilson, 78, of Monon, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 6:00 a.m. in his home. He was born January 11, 1935 in East Chicago, Indiana to Claude and Manon (Fellows) Wilson and attended Dyer High School. His marriage was to Helen Faye (Burnau) on February 20, 1960 in Monon at the United Methodist Church. Ray was a member of the U.S Navy during the Korean conflict. Mr. Wilson was a mechanic and maintenance man for many years. He also enjoyed woodworking, and being outdoors maintaining his garden. Surviving with his wife is a son, Eric Wilson (wife :) Marsha of Lafayette; and a daughter Pamela Wilson, of Monon. Ray loved spending time with his family, especially his seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death with his parents are three brothers, Don, Ziba and Jerry Wilson.
