Ermagene M. "Tootie" Ford, 87, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on October 19th, 2012. She was born on August 7th, 1925 in Kentland, Indiana to the late Charles and Henrietta (Rosendahl) Reynolds Meents. Her stepfather was Fred Meents of Ashkum, Illinois. She was married to the late Dale Ford. Tootie and her husband Dale, nicknamed Duce, managed a Burger Chef restaurant in Tallahassee, Florida for several years. They has also lived in California for several years before returning back to Bradenton, Florida. She has two surviving step children; Michelle Heaton and James Ford both of California. Local survivors include two nephews; Michael Reynolds of Indianapolis and Mark Reynolds of Monticello and a niece; Marilyn (Reynolds) Todd of Monon. She was preceded in death by her brother, Myron Reynolds, of Monticello. There will be a graveside memorial service in the near future at Fairlawn Cemetery, where her ashes will be buried. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
