Curtis L. Pass, 74, of Monon, passed away on June 20, 2012 at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare due to cancer. He was born on September 10, 1937 to the late Ralph and Gertrude (Dirst) Pass at home in Jasper County. He graduated from Rensselaer High School in 1957. Curt married Judy Johnson on April 11, 1959 at Our Lady of The Lakes Catholic Church in Monticello. She survives. He was a meat cutter for 42 years with A&P, Walmans, Pick & Save, and Brook Locker Plant. He served in the National Guard during the Korean War. He enjoyed auto racing, hunting, and fishing. Surviving with his wife are his daughters; Lou Ann Goffe (husband: Dave) of Monticello, and Becky Miller (husband: Don) of Morocco. His pride and joy were his grandsons; David Miller (girlfriend: Jenn) of Goodland, Cale Miller (wife: June) of Brook, Ethan Miller of Fair Oaks, and Aaron Goffe of Monticello. He is also survived by his four brothers; Delos Pass (wife: Morna) of Monon, Harry Pass (wife: Joann) of Lafayette, Jerry Pass (wife: Dorthy) of Wheatfield, and Ed Pass of Hillsboro; and his two sisters; Betty Pass of Rensselaer, and Ivy Bullington of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews.
